Inspired by the graceful silhouette proportions of Empire fashion, this ballet leotard highlights the bust with black Chantilly lace, placed to follow the clean, flattering lines of an early 19th century silouhette. In this design, we experimented with printing solid colors and combining them to create something fresh. To achieve the intricate, scalloped edges typically seen in haute couture, we chose to print French Chantilly lace directly onto the fabric. This technique allows us to maintain the delicate detail and craftsmanship without compromising the clean, structured look of the leotard.
For maintenance, we recommend washing it in a washing bag to avoid rips in the mesh and to prolong its life.
